Hi Mbrevick,
There's a handful of things that can cause hang ups during the creation of the stick. First thing to do is turn on Xtrace logging on the Core:
How to enable XTrace Diagnostic logging in LANDesk 9.6 Core and Clients
Next, go rename this log:
"\\CORE\ldmain\log\provisioning\provisioning.log" to "\\CORE\ldmain\log\provisioning\provisioning.old"
Now create your disconnected template.
Once it fails, grab the new provisioning.log from the Core at the path above and post it.
If there's an issue with publicly posting the log, look to open a ticket with support.
A couple common things I've seen:
- Using the core as the preferred server to host the tbi
- If you log into the core with 1 user, and your preferred server is a different user it will fail
- Wrong permissions on the preferred server share
- insufficient drive size
The log will help narrow down the cause.
