OK, I figured out the driver tree part. We had redeployed the 9.5 pre-SP1 ldiscn32.exe to our machines in order to fix an issue we have where the SP1 inventory scanner does not inventory 32-bit applications, only 64-bit. I put the SP1 scanner back and ran an inventory, and now the tree appears for that particular model of machine. So, apparently, there is something in the SP1 scanner that is needed to populate the driver tree info in SP1. Problem is, that new scanner breaks software inventory. I'm going to try and put the new scanner back long enough to hard assign some drivers to see if it fixes our blue screen problem. Beginning to wonder if the things gained in SP1 are worth it now.......
